Traditional/Offline Marketing
Templeton Integrated Marketing can help you with a wide variety of marketing projects, managing projects from conception, through writing copy, design and production. While not a graphic design firm, I do have a network of designers and other professionals that I work with so you don’t have to source additional vendors.
Traditional ‘offline’ marketing accounts for the majority of marketing budgets today. While marketing budgets are shifting additional resources to online marketing, Forrester Research estimates that marketing spend is weighted approximately 80% to offline marketing and 20% to online marketing. This is supported by ZenithOptimedia research that has advertising spend (not total marketing spend) split at approximately 87% to offline mediums vs. 13% online mediums in 2009.
Having a background in both sales and marketing, I can help you integrate your marketing efforts with your sales efforts. I am continually amazed at how many companies think marketing and sales are two, distinct functions. If you have sales personnel, let’s bring them into the process – they are in front of your customers’ everyday and they bring a wealth of knowledge that is often not tapped. If you don’t have a formal sales function, let’s also look at how inquiries are handled. Are your marketing efforts bringing you leads but you still can’t close the business?

Public Relations – Public Relations is more than just issuing news press releases. PR is an opportunity to expose your organization to the public through speaking engagements, providing expert content and building a relationship with your local community.
Trade Shows – Trade shows are an important component of many businesses' marketing mix, especially for B2B companies. Trade show costs can quickly add up so it is important to have a strategy to leverage these events for their maximum potential.
Collateral – Collateral is the cornerstone of most marketing and is typically used as sales aides when the prospect has already been identified. I will work with you to make sure your collateral is customer focused (not product focused) to help increase the effectiveness of your materials.
Print Advertising – Print advertising is down due to the tough economic environment and newspapers, magazines and other local publications are more likely to offer special deals making this medium affordable again.
